I felt well supported and safe.  It was also good to be challenged to go beyond my comfort zone as I had had some months of start / stop progress and differing inputs on the problem and how best to manage”

Alison Yuill

“The laughter and kindness are highlights of my week. At the Centre, I no longer feel as alone. As soon as I set lopsided foot in the centre, I wondered why I hadn’t come sooner. The reality of the Centre is that it’s empowered me to take more control over my illness, now I go for regular physio and gentle exercise classes. The laughter and kindness are highlights of my week.”

Helen (living with MS)

“The range of therapies on offer are amazing. I have tried various forms of these therapies: advice on breathing exercises to improve the quality of my breathing, acupuncture to alleviate symptoms of fatigue and pain, sessions on the anti gravity walking machine to build up my stamina and most recently massage for a painful back which has made a very significant difference after only one session."

Morag Kerr

“The Centre is a hub for meeting and encouraging each other, for moral support – it really helps keep me positive. It provides what I need to manage my MS. The physiotherapy, exercise classes and complementary therapies have been invaluable to me. It’s a great comfort to know the Centre is there for me. I hope it always will be for those who need it. I know I can go there whenever I need to.”
