About Oxygen Therapy

Your body depends on oxygen to fuel vital processes like cell repair, circulation, and brain function. For many people living with neurological or other health conditions, these systems can come under extra strain.

Oxygen Therapy offers a safe, effective way to give your body the additional support it needs, helping these natural processes work more efficiently.

At The Neuro Therapy Place, we’ve been providing subsidised Oxygen Therapy for over 40 years. Every day, we see how it can ease symptoms, boost energy, and improve quality of life for our clients.

Conditions Oxygen Therapy Helps

LONG COVID

“I was diagnosed with long covid in November 2020. There is not much information about it, but my main symptoms are severe nerve/muscle pain, chronic fatigue and brain fog. It is difficult going from being an independent, hard-working person to then be able to do nothing. I wasn’t able to work, cook, clean, get washed. All of the things I took for granted before. I wasn’t able to live my normal life for over a year until I found the centre.”

MS

“I feel oxygen therapy helps my fatigue and definitely helps with pain in my lower back, which improved my walking.”

DEGENERATIVE
SCOLIOSIS

“After 20 years of pain from degenerative scoliosis I found oxygen therapy helped my pain plateau rather than worsen. After the first session I felt a little better. After months I saw gradual improvement, could get out of bed more easily, and needed fewer painkillers."

CANCER

“I don’t think I would have made a full recovery without HBOT.  It was the single most effective treatment I have ever had.  After cancer treatment I felt like I had never shaken the chemotherapy cancer fatigue.  Unable to help me, my GP diagnosed with ME for the debilitating fatigue and symptoms I was suffering from.  HBOT was both the beginning of my recovery and the central part of it.  HBOT was the one part of that treatment making the biggest difference. Within 10 sessions the difference was noticeable by others around me.”

MENOPAUSE

“I started Oxygen therapy for my menopause symptoms of fatigue, low energy and brain fog all of which was affecting my quality of life.”

LYME DISEASE

“Very welcoming, friendly, supportive, caring and knowledgeable… For me the treatment has helped me the most out of all my treatments.”

How Oxygen Therapy Helps

Inflammation, Pain, and Healing

Oxygen is essential for tissue repair and healing. Increased oxygen availability can help reduce swelling, support the repair of damaged tissue, and may contribute to pain reduction.

Circulation and Detoxification

Increasing oxygen levels in the blood can support healthier circulation. Improved blood flow helps the body transport nutrients more effectively and remove waste products, reducing the risk of circulatory issues.

Immune System

Higher oxygen levels in the blood and tissues can support white blood cell activity, which plays a key role in immune function. This may help reduce inflammation and support the body’s response to autoimmune and inflammatory conditions.

Fatigue and Energy Levels

Improved oxygen delivery to body tissues can support cellular energy production, helping to increase energy levels and reduce feelings of fatigue.

Brain and Cognitive Function

Increasing oxygen delivery to the brain can help reduce inflammation and support the growth and function of brain cells. This may lead to improvements in cognitive function, memory, and overall brain health.
